An absolute monument of the global trail-running scene, the UTMB offers a legendary loop around the Mont Blanc massif through France, Italy and Switzerland. Starting from Chamonix, carried by the spellbinding notes of Conquest of Paradise, the pack sets off on a magnificent journey into the heart of the roof of Europe.

The route stretches over 171 kilometers and 10,000 meters of elevation gain through spectacular Alpine scenery, linking high passes such as the Col du Bonhomme or the Grand Col Ferret, and wild valleys dominated by glaciers. Between the demanding night-time high-mountain section and the electrifying atmosphere at the life bases in Courmayeur or Champex-Lac, the race pushes the limits of pure endurance in an atmosphere of popular fervor unlike anywhere else in the world. Each return to downtown Chamonix seals an epic crossing where self-transcendence takes on an almost legendary dimension.
