Tempo Urban Trail La Villette: registration opens October 27

Urban trail running is booming, and it's now heading for the capital with a 100% Parisian night course, set to music and open to everyone: the Tempo Urban Trail - La Villette.

Runners will start from Place de la Fontaine aux Lions, on a new playground dreamed up by the RnK team. The route runs past the Philharmonie de Paris, heads for the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, goes by the foot of the Géode, then takes the footbridges and towpaths along the Canal de l'Ourcq in eastern Paris.

We wanted a trail race unlike any other: at night, with music, in a place Parisians know well. And because a great evening doesn't end at the finish line, your bib becomes a pass to enjoy La Villette, that same night or in the weeks that follow.

Music will drive the runners' stride all along the course. Decked out in light gear, participants will light up the park as they pass. The finish of the Tempo Urban Trail – La Villette will be just as unique, with a live musical performance to carry runners into the Grande Halle.

The experience won't stop at the finish line. The finisher's bib for the Tempo Urban Trail – La Villette doubles as a voucher to spend at venues in the park. That means you can keep the night going on site, or come back and see La Villette in a different light in the following weeks.
