140 km / 77 km / 43 km / 28 km
As the oldest trail race in Valais, now part of the UTMB World Series, the Trail Verbier St-Bernard offers a raw immersion in the spectacular setting of the Swiss Valais. The route climbs high from the start in Verbier, heading out beneath majestic peaks and skirting deep-blue alpine lakes.
The flagship race (the X-Alpine) lays out a daunting profile with 140 kilometers and more than 9,300 meters of elevation gain, featuring crossings of legendary high-altitude passes and the traverse of the famous Grand St Bernard Pass. Between smooth balcony trails, technical ridge sections, and the warmth of Swiss hospitality, the event offers a great high-mountain adventure across several formats, from the iconic ultra to shorter routes accessible to everyone.
