Torrencial Chile by UTMB

In Valdivia, in southern Chile, Torrencial Chile by UTMB makes rain part of the scenery rather than a setback. The country's only major winter race takes place in the heart of the rainy season, deep in the Valdivian temperate rainforest, where dense vegetation, waterlogged trails and cold temperatures create a unique atmosphere in South America. Distances range from a children's mini-race to an ultra of more than 100 km, with the Pilolcura course taking center stage as it awards Running Stones for the final of the UTMB. Here, performance matters less than the experience: that of a raw, wet and authentic trail, enjoyed in good spirits and in the spirit of a region proud of its natural surroundings.
