Armagnac Half Marathon

Nestled in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac in the Landes, this early-autumn event combines a sporting challenge with the discovery of the local terroir. The race starts from Place de la Liberté in Villeneuve-de-Marsan, sending participants along a picturesque route through vineyards and pine forests.

The course alternates between small paved roads and dirt tracks through the Gers and Landes countryside. Runners pass by the cellars of Château de Ravignan and make their way through the Domaine d'Ognoas, before heading into a lively finish in the town's bullring. With no excessive elevation gain but plenty of variety from the changing terrain, the route remains accessible. True to the spirit of conviviality, the event offers gourmet refreshment stations and a varied program that also includes a 10K, a walk and children's races.
