In the heart of the Slovenian Julian Alps, the Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB takes place among forests, valleys and high-altitude trails. The routes offer numerous views of the surrounding peaks and pass notably by Lake Bled. On the longer formats, the course heads into the Karavanke mountains before reaching Kranjska Gora. The terrain alternates between forest paths, sustained climbs and mountain sections. Several distances allow runners to explore this environment, including the 122 km ultra. A wonderful way to discover Slovenia’s alpine landscapes.
