Great Wall of China Trail

Running on the Great Wall of China is a dream for many trail runners, and the Great Wall of China Trail makes it possible in the form of a multi-stage adventure. Organized by Contrastes Running for more than twenty years, the event takes place over several days, with a prologue serving as an introduction before longer stages on sections of the Wall and its surrounding areas.
Participants alternate between running and sightseeing, traversing endless steps, centuries-old watchtowers and villages along the way, while enjoying a warm welcome from the locals. Open to both runners and walkers, the race is as much a journey as it is a competition: participants share their adventure with a group of enthusiasts, sample local cuisine and visit must-see sites before leaving with the feeling that they have experienced something truly unique.
