“Les 25 heures qui courent”: Clem Qui Court unveils a huge charity backyard with trail stars and internet heavyweights
Clément Deffrenne, better known online as Clem Qui Court, officially announced “Les 25 heures qui courent” on Sunday, August 30. Staged on November 7 in support of the Rêves charity, this backyard ultra will bring together trail legends, major content creators and 50 members of his community.
Inspired by GP Explorer and the All-Star Game, the event aims to take running beyond its usual boundaries by turning it into a major media spectacle with an interactive edge. Streamed live on Twitch in late November, the project is betting on a popular format to reach well beyond the usual mountain-running crowd. The exact venue remains under wraps for now.
A backyard format built for endurance
The chosen format is a classic backyard ultra: competitors must complete a 6.706-kilometre loop every hour. A new hour means the start of another identical loop, with the standings taking shape as runners drop out or are eliminated for missing the cutoff, until the race finally comes to an end when the allotted time expires.
An unprecedented field of athletes and creators
For the inaugural field, Clément Deffrenne has brought together 100 participants in an even split: 50 high-level athletes and content creators, plus 50 members of his community.
The athletes: Blandine L’Hirondel, fresh from her victory at the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB), has confirmed her participation. She will be joined by other leading names from the sport, including Mathieu Blanchard, Ludovic Pommeret and Aurélien Sanchez, as well as professional road cyclist Arnaud Démare. Kilian Jornet has also been linked to the project through a “golden ticket”, although the details of how it can be activated have not yet been fully revealed.
The content creators: Several major figures from the French web will also take the start, including Tibo InShape, Domingo, Zack Nani, Baghera and Diego, the organiser of Crunch Creator.
A community event with a charitable purpose
Alongside the headline names, the organisers have set aside 50 places for members of the influencer’s community. They can earn a spot through “golden tickets” distributed via his Instagram account.
Beyond the sporting challenge and media coverage, all proceeds from the event will be donated to Rêves, a charity that helps fulfil the wishes of seriously ill children and teenagers.
