How to Follow the 2026 Diagonale des Fous Live

Réunion La 1ère, France Télévisions’ overseas channel, is bringing all its teams together for continuous, immersive coverage, right at the heart of the race and alongside the people experiencing it. The same live feed will run across all its platforms: television, radio, digital and social media.

Viewers will be able to catch the highlights from all five races on the programme: the Diagonale des Fous (180 km), the Zembrocal Trail (160 km), the Trail de Bourbon (106 km), La Mascareignes (74 km) and the Métis Trail (51 km). Production will match the scale of the event, with aerial footage captured by drone and helicopter. It will bring the vertiginous landscapes that have made the Diagonale legendary to screens around the world.

A total of 7,726 runners from across the globe will set off on a four-day, four-night crossing of Réunion Island’s trails and highest peaks. Coverage will follow the race leaders, profile runners, spotlight volunteers, capture the atmosphere on the ground and feature stories from families.

The « LIVE TRAIL » platform lets you follow individual runners via their runner profile, with real-time positions and finish times. You can also download the app on your smartphone, for Android (Google Play) or iPhone (App Store).
